About
Wildfin is a project inspired by a passion for fly fishing, exploring the outdoors, and creating artwork. This idea was born on the water in the depths of a western canyon and has traveled through the southern lowcountry marshes making its way back to the artist’s home waters of Virginia.
Vincent Zawada is the artist behind Wildfin Fishing Co. He studied Illustration at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia. When not working in the studio on his artwork he was searching the lowcountry marshes for tailing redfish. After college, Vince headed west to the mountains. Here he spent years fly fishing the rivers and creeks throughout Colorado. He currently resides in Richmond, Virginia. If he's not tying flies or working on new designs in the studio, he can be found hopping rocks along the James river looking for smallmouth bass or poling his skiff in the tributary rivers of the Chesapeake Bay searching for skinny water redfish.
